To put to rest any concerns about going out to appointments, let me say this about viruses and infection control. Our practice deals with baseline healthy people. We do not do surgery on acutely ill people. We have always requested you reschedule your appointments and stay home if you are sick. This is especially important now with a virus of unknown potential.
Infection control has always been one of the most important parts of this practice. My wife has a microbiology degree; cleanliness has always been a top priority. Disinfection, hand washing, and sterilization are the keys to avoiding cross contamination in my world. We are committed to being even more diligent with this now that we have the concerns of a powerful virus.
